DR. Andrea Tavlan , MD FAAP

BACKGROUND

Dr. Andrea Tavlan MD, FAAP grew up in New Jersey, first in Paterson and later in Hillsborough. She earned her BA in chemistry, biology, and German language from Drew University. She earned her MD in 2009 from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and remained at URMC for her residency in pediatrics from 2009-2012. She practiced in Rochester, NY and later in Connecticut before joining Nassau Pediatric Associates in the summer of 2016. She lives in Mineola with her husband, Ed, who is also a physician, and her spunky young daughters Evangeline and Penelope. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, sewing, and do-it -yourself home improvement.

Hobbies: Reading, sewing, do-it -yourself home improvement and 3D printing.
