Background
Laura de la Bastide, CPNP grew up in Bethpage. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Molloy College in 1996, and a Masters degree in Science from Hunter College of the City University of New York in 2001. Laura began her career as a nurse practitioner/ clinical coordinator at NYU Medical Center in Manhattan caring for pediatric patients with vascular anomalies. She then spent several years working in pediatric oncology at NYU Medical Center, caring for children with various types of Cancer and blood disorders. She then went on to work in a pediatric practice in Sayville for five years before joining Nassau Pediatrics in February of 2017. Laura lives in Port Washington and has four children. She enjoys spending time with her children, reading, running, and cooking.

Urgent Care Times - Mon-Fri 8:45AM-10AM. Walk in appointments for these times are intended for illnesses in the past 24-48 hrs that are uncomplicated; for example fevers, sore throats, and/or ear pain.
Any complex health issues that are long standing/chronic issues, we ask those appointments to be scheduled to allow for appropriate time and care.
We will have a dedicated provider each day specifically to care for our walk in patients.
Any walk ins after 10am will be requested to be scheduled or return at a later time
